Take me out to the ballgame...

Erv loved baseball. Not only was he a great player in his time, he was a loyal home town fan. He was at Safeco for the first game played there, the All Star game, and many games against the hated Yankees. He loved trading card night and often wore his vintage baseball jerseys--featuring the teams of yesteryears, like the Seattle Rainiers.

Unfortunately, he never saw a World Series game. When (if?) it happens, he'll be there in spirit.
